I went to London.
I saw the double-decker buses, the buildings of red bricks, white stones, glass, metal, those with signs in front, those with tourists in front of the signs, those with no one in front and those who were not even more upright.
I saw the London Eye motionless and people bustling around below. I’ve seen a man hold his dog’s leash with his fingertips, another adjust the strap of his rucksack that keeps slipping over his shoulder, a pair of hands busy tying shoes, and a woman slipping a one of the coins in a terminal for a metro ticket.
I kinda forgot what the London Eye looked like. But I decided it wasn’t that important.
